The 25th Balkan Championships for seniors and 6th Balkan Championships for veterans was held from Septemer 22 to 24, 2023 in Tirana, Albania, where more than three hundred competitors of national federations from 11 countries took part. In compliance with all WKF rules and norms, the competition took place on 3 tatami mats.
By success in the senior competition Montenegro was first with 4 gold medals, 3 silver and 5 bronze, second was Serbia with 4 gold medals, 1 silver and 4 bronze, and in third place was Croatia with 3 gold medals, 2 silver and 6 bronze.
By success in the veteran competition Greece was first with 4 gold medals, 4 silver and 1 bronze, second was Kosovo with 2 gold medals and 2 silver, and in third place was Croatia with 2 gold medals.
