26th Balkan Karate Championships for Seniors and 7th Balkan Karate Championships for Veterans will be held on 23-25 February 2024 in Podgorica, Montenegro.
The Balkan Championships for cadets, juniors and U21 was held from November 17 to 19, 2023 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where over a thousand competitors and over 300 judges, coaches and representatives of national federations from 13 countries took part. In compliance with all WKF rules and norms, the competition took place on 6 tatami mats.
In terms of success, Turkiye was first with 13 gold medals, 11 silver and 19 bronze, second was Serbia with 11 gold medals, 5 silver and 12 bronze, and in third place was Bosnia and Herzegovina with 8 gold medals, 8 silver and 15 bronze.
23nd Balkan Karate Championships for cadets, juniors and U21will be held on 17-19 November 2023 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The 25th Balkan Championships for seniors and 6th Balkan Championships for veterans was held from Septemer 22 to 24, 2023 in Tirana, Albania, where more than three hundred competitors of national federations from 11 countries took part. In compliance with all WKF rules and norms, the competition took place on 3 tatami mats.
By success in the senior competition Montenegro was first with 4 gold medals, 3 silver and 5 bronze, second was Serbia with 4 gold medals, 1 silver and 4 bronze, and in third place was Croatia with 3 gold medals, 2 silver and 6 bronze.
By success in the veteran competition Greece was first with 4 gold medals, 4 silver and 1 bronze, second was Kosovo with 2 gold medals and 2 silver, and in third place was Croatia with 2 gold medals.
27th Balkan Karate Championships for Children was held on 26-28 May 2023 in Bar, Montenegro, was excellently organized by the Karate Federation of Montenegro and gathered more than 1400 competitors from 11 countries.
In terms of success, Turkiye was first with 14 gold medals, 14 silver and 17 bronze, second was Montenegro with 13 gold medals, 6 silver and 16 bronze, and in third place was Croatia with 8 gold medals, 10 silver and 10 bronze.
At the headquarters of the Karate Federation of Balkan, in Belgrade, a meeting was held with the participation of Mr. Davor Cipek, President of the Karate Federation of Balkan, Mr. Slavoljub Piper, Secretary General of the Karate Federation of Balkan and Mr. Aslan Abid Uguz, President of the Karate Federation of Turkey.
After a constructive and comprehensive conversation, a document was signed on the renewal of membership of the Karate Federation of Turkey in the Karate Federation of Balkan.
